The Villa
Bright and spacious villa with private pool and features a large terrace. The house has three bedrooms with air conditioner and two bathrooms. The house can accommodate six people.
The terrace
Beautiful, large terrace with a heated swimming pool. A garden set for six people is available outside for dining and relaxing on the terrace. There are also six sun loungers and four armchairs. There is a nice large barbecue on the terrace.
Interior
Villa Citrus has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The double bedroom with en suite bathroom, is on one side of the villa, while the two single bedrooms with the second bathroom are on the other side. The living room, dining area and kitchen are in the middle. The double bedroom has a ceiling fan and French doors to the terrace and pool. All bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space and louvered windows for ventilation. Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms. The living room has a high ceiling and catches natural light. The dining area has a large dining table with six chairs. The living room has two comfortable 3 and 2-seater sofas, 56″ flat-screen TV, and DVD player.
The kitchen is well equipped with a breakfast bar, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, cafetière, Nespresso, picnic set including cooler bag and freezer packs.
Marina Rubicon
The villa is a 20-minute walk to the Marina Rubicon complex with a fantastic variety of restaurants, a shopping mall, designer boutiques, a beautiful harbour, a bowling alley and a wide range of water sports and leisure activities, as well as a lively market twice a week. 500 metres (7-minute walk) from Villa Citrus you will reach the beautiful promenade leading to the Marina Rubicon, beaches, town, harbour and lighthouse. If you like shopping, Marina Rubicon has some lovely shops selling everything from branded clothes to jewellery and cosmetics, as well as restaurants where you can admire the abundance of yachts. You can also explore the atmospheric streets and squares that run along the marina.
Beaches
Playa Blanca also offers the best beaches in Lanzarote with the world-famous Papagayo beaches, plus a selection of smaller beaches along the 10-kilometre promenade that runs from the Papagayo beaches to the lighthouse in the west. The nearest beach to Villa Citrus is Playa Dorada, a 4-minute drive away. The first Papagayo beach is a 25-minute walk from Villa Citrus.
Centre of Playa Blanca
Playa Blanca has a shopping street with a varied range of shops. Along the coastal promenade are very many restaurants and bars for a pleasant evening. There is a market in the centre on Wednesdays.
Sport
For sports enthusiasts, there is a 9-hole pitch and putt course, diving, sailing, snorkelling, tennis, squash, mountain biking, swimming and many more activities, such as paddle tennis, mini-golf, water sports, bowling alley, small amusement park, trampolining, diving, paragliding and a glass-bottomed boat.
Transport
The villa is ideally located with close proximity to a bus stop. The local bus makes Marina Rubicon, Playa Blanca city centre and the harbour easily accessible by public transport and also connects to the bus station in Playa Blanca with connections to other parts of the island. It is possible to reach the villa from the airport by public transport and a 35-minute taxi ride.
Location and climate
Playa Blanca is located on the southern tip of Lanzarote. Playa Blanca has an exceptionally pleasant climate. Daytime temperatures are between 20 and 30 degrees all year round and there is virtually no rain. All year round, Playa Blanca is a sun-drenched destination. The rest of the island experiences slightly more precipitation, but in terms of temperature it is also very pleasant on the rest of the island. Because the rest of the island has slightly more precipitation, the rest of the island is slightly greener.
